Earn a Gifted and Talented Endorsement in Summer 2023
Eastern Kentucky University is offering an entire Gifted and Talented (GT) endorsement in Summer 2023. The GT endorsement is offered 100% online over the course of two six-week terms. Additionally, EKU is reducing the summer tuition rate to $395 per credit hour for practicing teachers and waiving the application fee!
Term A: May 22-June 30
- EMS 855: Gifted and Talented Youth
- EMS 856: Curriculum in Gifted And Talented Education
Term B: July 3-August 11
- EMS 857: Model Programs for Gifted and Talented Education
- EMS 858: Practicum for Gifted and Talented Education
Must pass the required Praxis II exam after completing courses to add endorsement teaching license.
- Apply at EKU's Graduate School
- Enter which term you would like to start classes (Summer A or Summer B)
- Under Graduate Student Applications, choose “Certificate, Rank, or Endorsement”
- Complete the application
