College of Education and Applied Human Sciences Student Support Fund

The purpose of this fund is to help future educators who struggle to pay the fees such as PRAXIS/standard exam fees associated with earning certifications.

EKU Speech Language Hearing Clinic 

The EKU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic (EKU-SLHC) is an integral part of the Communication Disorders clinical program.  The clinic serves individuals with communication delays and disorders and provides speech-language pathology services to more than 100 clients each school year, including summers.  A full range of diagnostic and therapy services in speech-language pathology for both children and adults.

College of Education & Applied Human Sciences Study Abroad Fund

Study abroad programs encompass many nations and topics of study. These international opportunities offer current and future educators an opportunity to experience different cultures and meet diverse people.

Department of Applied Human Sciences Fund

A donation to this fund supports scholarships and more for students in Applied Human Sciences programs.

Tom King Fund

This fund supports students in EKU's Interpreter Training Program cohort on refinement of their American Sign Language skills with additional language mentoring as well as professional fees/expenses they may incur during the program. The fund was established in remembrance of Tom King, a former graduate of the program and an outstanding mentor for the students when they were completing internships. 

The Call Me MISTER® Program invites all education majors and prospective education majors to become a member of an exciting mentoring and teacher leadership program. The MISTERs learn values, leadership skills, mentoring and how to be role models.

Equity and Inclusion Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to expand and enrich Eastern Kentucky University's campus life by recognizing and supporting outstanding students from first-generation, low-income and various cultural, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds with diverse interests, perspectives and life experiences.

Counseling Program Scholarship Fund

A donation to this fund supports scholarships for graduate students in EKU's Counseling Programs.
